Welcome to the Prestbury Yacht Club website!
One of the many advantages of living in Prestbury (Sugar Grove, IL) is the opportunity to be a member of the Prestbury Yacht Club. The PYC is a registered yacht club with the Yachting Club of America which offers the benefit of reciprocity privileges, and as a visiting guest you'll have access to other yacht clubs throughout the United States and Virgin Islands.

We also enjoy a full and active social calendar which includes various holiday parties, group outings, and our Commodore's Dinner in the fall.

A sizable pontoon boat, affectionately known as the "Float Boat", is available for no extra charge so that you can fully enjoy the confines of Lake Prestbury.
​
Sailing lessons are available for those who want to learn how to sail or would appreciate some pointers on perfecting their racing techniques.
​
A variety of club merchandise is also available for purchase.
​
Last, but not least: While owning a boat is not required for membership, for our members that do have sailboats, we participate in competitive sailboat racing on Lake Prestbury. Novices as well as "Old Salts" are welcome. In addition, as of 2016, we have initiated remote controlled boat competition. You don't want to miss that! All are encouraged to attend and cheer our sailors on to victory.

All of this for modest annual dues of $70 ($35 if joining after July 1). You'll never meet a friendlier group of people.
